Digital Confidence Program

East Gippsland Shire Council is excited to be partnering with GippsTech to deliver a Digital Confidence program for our business owners in the region, aiming to raise the confidence of local business operators to adopt technology and find new ways to grow and develop their business.

This project is jointly funded by the Victorian Government and Commonwealth Government under the Federal/State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

What is the program?

There will be a series of seven workshops held across the Shire, including one online session.

After attending a workshop, up to 50 businesses will receive one-on-one personalised mentoring support.

This mentoring will include the completion of a Digital Health Check, reviewing current technology needs and uses, and then building a roadmap to implement changes that will enable business owners to:

- Power up their digital presence

- Boost efficiency and sales

- Increase digital safety and security of business information

Who is eligible?

This program is open to business owners, farmers, start-up businesses and side hustles. For the personalized mentoring, priority will be given to business operators located in Bendoc, Buchan, Cann River, Mallacoota, Marlo, Omeo, Orbost and Swifts Creek.
